We have all dealt with the dad who “didn’t want a dog” until he had one. This dad swore he wanted nothing to do with his daughter’s dog. Now, he sports a tattoo of the dog on his arm. Although odd and maybe stalker-ish (just kidding), it only tells a small portion of the story.

The family went out shopping for a new couch recently. The dad wanted to sit on each one, but his testing criteria had nothing to do with how comfortable the furniture was.

The video was recorded and went viral, but the man’s daughter, Sam, blocked her dad from seeing it at first. He has seen it now and has no remorse. In fact, it isn’t just the dog he didn’t want. He didn’t want any animals. Please don’t tell Oliver.

Sam’s dad has become a complete push-over for all the pets. Her fans love her dad’s interactions with the dogs and cat. He’s a big, burly guy who melts around the animals. It’s totally adorable!

We’ve all met the Grumpy Gus who “hates” animals until they get near one. Another woman’s dad swore he would never love her dog. On day one, he was all smiles and cuddling the pup in his favorite armchair. Later that same day, he was escorting her to the potty area to teach her to do her business outside.
